Family Gathering in Kenosha Wisconsin

When I was a little girl, I remember we always got Christmas card from America. It was from my fathers aunts, Kaia, Klara and Amanda. These cards were so amazing and America was so far away back then. In 2014 my father’s cousin, Audrey, in Wisconsin, invited us to Kenosha for a family gathering. This was a great opportunity to get to know our American relatives. My father had 3 aunts and 2 uncles that emigrated from Dønna in the North of Norway, to America. We stayed with my father’s cousin in Kenosha. She is like my American mother and we love her so much. We met our relatives from Kenosha, California, Minnesota and Canada. Wonderful people and I’m so glad we got to do this journey and get to know them.
